I happened to find this beautifully designed jacket at our local feed supply at the start of winter. What a find! I bought the medium for our stocky short-hair 50% American Bulldog-35% Australian Cattle Dog-10% Boston Terrier- 5% French Bulldog mix, weighing about 50 lbs. The 19.5″ length is perfect and the 11-inch width from center is long enough to keep her snuggly and short enough to bypass scrub while out hiking. I thought the interior was lined with a thick fleece, but it’s actually wool and is super warm. We live at 4200-ft elevation and our evening temps are about 18-25 degrees. She loves her jacket and wears it inside and outside. It actually has a calming effect on her. When i wrap her in it she goes from high-animated energy to calm, happy dog. I’m so happy with it, I’ve ordered another medium. If there is a negative, the only one might be that the jacket has to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned. Since we don’t have a dry cleaner in either of our two counties, hand-washing it is in Woolite. Beautiful product.
